Rhodiapolis – Ancient City to Visit in Antalya Kumluca

The ancient city of Rhodiapolis is built on a hill 2.5 km from the Kumluca region of Antalya province. Asklepion and Opramoas made the city famous in their time. Rhodiapolis is one of the important settlements in Eastern Lycia, founded in the 8th century BC. Archaeological excavations began in 2006, which resulted in the discovery of many artifacts and silver coins.

In the center of the city there is a small theater designed by the Greeks. The theater seats 1,500 people. Only the first floor of the theater has survived. The remains of the theater found in the city center is the most powerful structure that has survived to this day.
