Places Everyone Should See in Antalya

Antalya, the first city that comes to mind when tourism is mentioned in Turkey, continues to host millions of local and foreign tourists every year. Both in terms of nature and history, Antalya is one of the most important holiday destinations in the world. In the city, which stands out with its sea and beach opportunities, some places that must be seen attract attention. So where are the places that those who will travel to Antalya should not return without seeing?

Kaleici

Kaleiçi, located in the very center of Antalya, is one of the most frequented spots for tourists. Ottoman mansions with wooden and stone architecture, located in narrow streets with cobblestones, still stand and present a magnificent view. Most of these mansions serve as restaurants, cafes, bars, boutique hotels, and they are very beautiful with sea views. In addition, there are historical places in Kaleiçi such as fluted Minaret, Hıdırlık Tower, Kesik Minaret, Karatay Madrasa, Şehzade Korkut Mosque and Hadrian’s Gate.

Kekova – Underwater Ruins

Kekova Island, which is 165 km away from the center of Antalya, is also known as the sunken city. The underwater ruins on this beach are known worldwide. Kekova can be easily reached by boat from Antalya. There are the remains of the ancient city, which was buried under the sea with the earthquake and tsunami in 100 AD. Swimming is not allowed as the area is under protection.

Likya way

Many historical places can be discovered on this road, which was used by caravans and traders in ancient times.

There are many historical and touristic areas in Antalya. All of these areas attract the attention of tourists. Especially in the summer season, these places are visited by a very intense tourist influx.
