The cave, with a length of 555 meters and a span of 22 meters, is a horizontally developed polygenic-fossilized cave type.
There are many stalactites and stalagmites in the Gilindire Cave. At the same time, there are columns, walls, curtain drip stones, cave pillars and leaking stones that divide the cave into rooms. As a result of the research carried out in the Gilindire Cave, which was found by a shepherd in 1999, a lake was found 450 meters from the entrance. The water in the first 12 meters of the lake, which has never been affected by today’s conditions and remains as clean as the first day, is brackish and the other parts are salty. The most beautiful place of the cave is where this lake is located.
