Incirliin Cave – Cave to See in Milas, Mugla

Incirliin Cave in Mugla province, southwest Turkey, are still a popular tourist attraction. The 345-meter-long cave, located in the Gökceler Gorge in the Milas district and estimated to be around 8,000 years old, has been declared a first-rate archaeological and natural site by the Mugla Council for the Protection of Cultural and Natural Heritage.Incirliin Cave in Mugla province

Incirliin Cave, upon entering the cave, visitors are greeted by giant stalactites and stalagmites and enjoy lower temperatures that can reach 17 degrees Celsius even on the hottest days. The lower temperatures also make the cave an ideal habitat where bat colonies are said to have once lived.
