Recovery took place in 2021 and 1 million 357 thousand 807 domestic and foreign tourists visited museums and ruins.

The most visited museum in İzmir in 2022: Ephesus ancient city museum with 174 thousand 686 people. Atatürk Museum hosted 168 thousand 603 visitors. Again, Cesme museum in İzmir hosted 102 thousand 812 local and foreign tourists.

According to the data of 2022, the ancient city of Ephesus, which hosted 1 million 995 thousand 282 people during the visits to the ruins, was the place that hosted the most tourists.
