More than 500 Thousand Tourists Visited Antalya in March
A historical record was broken in Antalya tourism in March 2024: More than 500 thousand tourists visited Antalya for the first time. 505,421 tourists came to Antalya in March, an increase of 45% compared to the same period last year.
A record was also broken in the total number of tourists for three months: The 1 million threshold was exceeded for the first time. Between January 1 and March 31, 1 million 5 thousand 207 foreign tourists visited Antalya, an increase of 25.6% compared to the same period last year. Countries sending the most tourists to Antalya
England, which was visited by more than 1 million tourists for the first time in 2023 and became one of Antalya’s main markets, ranked third with 124 thousand 621 tourists in the three-month period of 2024, showing an increase of 40% compared to the previous year. The share of British people in the total number of tourists was 14.5%. Like the UK, the increase continued in the three months of 2024 from Poland, which exceeded 1 million for the first time last year and is one of Antalya’s four main markets. 34 thousand 880 Polish visitors came, an increase of 43% compared to the same period last year.
